No better way to end the year! This is my homage to a city that has been in the forefront of the news this year. My trip to Minneapolis was so beautiful, and the food scene surprised me. I always looked forward to going back, and then the events that took place in Minneapolis compounded with Covid-19 regulations became a pivotal turning point for the world this year. 

It was there that I had this soup for the first time, and also there that I learned a bit more about the state's history to Native American lands. Wild rice is the only rice native to this land.
